IFC files as a BIM solution
With BIM you can let programs work on the same file. Many programs can import or export IFC files. So many programs can view or edit the information. An example: A structural building that needs to be calculated can be exported from Tekla (drawing fase) to SCIA (strength calculation). More about BIM solutions
